The Department of Orthopedics and Rehabilitation, The University of Iowa, is seeking a Research Assistant to conduct clinical orthopedic research with a focus on Orthopedic Residents’ research projects.
This position will perform research activities based upon protocols developed by the principal investigator of the research project or other department research staff, working closely with orthopedic residents on their projects.
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
Experience requirements include: 1-3 years of experience conducting research, experience working with statistics, experience working with large database datasets, proficiency in MS Office computer software applications, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
